Electrical Foreman – SRACO – Saudi Arabia
The foreman is responsible for the execution and supervision of all works given by the concerned Engineer. Check the Isolations done by API before taking up of the maintenance job on the equipment. Inspection of spares received in the warehouse. Taking care of all safety precautions during the execution of works. Supporting the engineers in finding out the defect in the electrical systems. Receiving the spares from warehouse for the job to be executed by his team. Prepare the records of the jobs carried out by his team of technicians in SAP.

Permanent Responsibilities

• To the extent possible, perform all routine and emergency facility Electrical equipment maintenance.
• Assist with, and to the extent required, supervise maintenance contractor work.
• Work shift work or overtime, as required, to maintain equipment availability and efficiency.
• Develop procedures and forms to track performance and maintenance history of all Facility electrical equipment. Maintain and review such records and report findings as required.
• Investigate and repair electrical equipment problems.
• Coordinate daily work activities and equipment status with Operations.
• Recommend equipment operating and / or maintenance changes which will enhance unit operation and equipment availability.
• Perform emergency equipment maintenance, as required, at any hour of any day or night.
• Maintain Facility equipment to the highest possible standard so as to maximize Facility output, maximize Owner revenues and minimize financial penalties assessed.
• Perform the necessary housekeeping functions for the Facility.
• Responsible to perform work in a safe way.
• Responsible to maintain confidentially of all information available to the position.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor to this position, but not specifically stated in this description.

Permanent Objectives
• Study and get thoroughly understand about Electrical single line diagram of Power plant.
• Understanding Power plant KKS system
• Understanding Work permit system of Power plant.
• Prepare a master database of all Power plant equipments.
• Assist Engineer in preparing Spare parts database for all Power plant equipments from O&M manual as per manufacturer recommendations.
• Assist Engineer in preparation of Preventive maintenance activities /schedule are as per manufacturer recommendations in O&M manual.
• Check and maintain a database of Tools required for maintenance/Overhauls.
• Understanding Generator / Transformer protection logics
• Understanding Fire alarm and detection system logics.
• Understanding schematic drawings of all important circuits like Synchronizing, Excitation, SFC, ABTS, Generator circuit breakers, 6.6KV circuit breakers, 400V circuit breakers, Battery chargers, UPS , MOVs, Boilers, Diesel Generators, Main transformers/Aux.transformers, Lighting distribution etc.
• Understanding Operation and maintenance of Generators, SFC, Excitation systems.
• Understanding cathodic protection system
• Understanding interlocks between Power plant and 220KV G.I.S
• Understanding Basic principles of Gas turbine operation & over all operation philosophy of Power plant.

Specific Objectives
• Study and get thoroughly understand about Electrical single line diagram of Power plant.
• Understanding Generator / Transformer protection logics
• Understanding schematic drawings of all important circuits like Synchronizing, Excitation, SFC, ABTS, Generator circuit breakers, 6.6KV circuit breakers, 400V circuit breakers, Battery chargers, UPS , MOVs, Boilers, Diesel Generators, Main transformers/Aux.transformers, Lighting distribution etc.
