Spinwell Global is working together with one of the world’s leading engineering and development consultancies and has been commissioned to recruit a Electrical Design Engineer for project based in Qatar.
The primary purpose of the position is to be responsible for the electrical design of delegated Projects.
Your role will include but limited to:
• Work closely with Project Managers, contribute to the successful implementation and delivery of projects involving predominantly electrical engineering, including fieldwork, analysis, design and supervision;
• Carry out design studies and analysis of aspects pertinent to electrical designs but not limited to, Substations, Distribution and Transmission Lines of voltages from MV to HV;
• Deliver results of design studies, investigations and report in accordance with client requirements;
• Provide guidance on Electrical Design, Documentation and Contract Administration issues;
• Ensure availability of all design aids and standards;
• Liaise with Architects, Structural / Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers and Quantity Surveyors, to ensure proper co-ordination of drawings;
• Check and certify drawings;
• Prepare Technical Reports;
• Comply with the company’s quality assurance and quality management procedures.
You will hold a Degree in Electrical Engineering and have extensive knowledge in electrical design packages. You will be required to have a minimum of 10 years practical design experience in the field of electrical engineering.
