Economic Analyst jobs in Govt of Pakistan


TUSDEC (Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company) has been established by Ministry of Industries and Production, Government of Pakistan to upgrade technology and skill of strategic industrial clusters and connect Pakistan to the global value chain.
Economic Analyst
• Carry out quantitative and qualitative research/surveys/analysis of industrial/service sectors of Pakistan
• Identify economic indicators/trends and undertake growth analysis of national and international economies
• In-depth study and analysis of national economic/industrial policies to generate reports/position papers for the company
• Review/analyze policy documents of Planning Commission/Ministries/multi donor agencies etc. to identify potential opportunities for project development
• Participate in preparing the business plans, feasibility studies and different reports for submission to Government of Pakistan and donor organizations
• Prepare economic/financial/cost analysis to support project development and funding and business proposals
• Strengthen and reinforce Company’s knowledge generation by producing sectoral studies,policy papers etc.
Education:
Bachelors/Masters in Economics
Experience:
At lease 3 years relevant work experience. (work experience with a donor/public/private sector R&D organization would be desirable)
Special Skills:
• Proven knowledge and skills in qualitative and quantitative research tools and related software
• Exceptional writing and presentation skills especially in business development proposal/concept paper writing
• Strong work ethics and strong Interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
