I’m looking for a DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS for a client of mine who is a boutique consulting firm with Fortune 1000 clients, and with several offices in the US and Europe. This position will be located in their Providence, RI office.
This firm is in growth mode – headcount and revenue are expected to double in the next few years. The Director of Operations will be groomed for a Chief Operations Officer (COO) role.
Compensation is in the $175K-$220K range (probably a base of $150K-$175K plus target bonus of 20%-25%).
Looking for a blend of large company and small company experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise all financial management, controls, systems, and planning procedures
- Set performance goals and appropriately allocate resources to meet those goals
- Contribute to financial reporting and analysis procedures
- Lead cross-functional project teams
- Assist with overseeing human resources, purchasing, and administrative functions
REQUIREMENTS:

- MBA
- Some experience with a top management consulting firm and/or experience with a Fortune 1000 company
- Also, experience in operations with a smaller, more entrepreneurial company (start-up, dot-com, etc.).
- P&L responsibility in background
- Ability and willingness to travel about 25% (both domestic and international)
