The Director of Emergency Services will be responsible for supervising the delivery of patient care in the department. This includes assessing the number and level of personnel needed to deliver the required patient care, ensuring all appropriate information is communicated to the oncoming supervisor, and providing input for the development of Standards of Practice, Patient Care Standards and Policies and Procedures. The Director will also provide input the Vice President of Patient Care Services for the development of the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the department.
The ideal candidate for this position will have an MSN, possess a current license in New Jersey, and have five to seven years nursing experience, including experience in an acute care facility. Compensation and benefits for this position are competitive.
