Director Corporate Marketing jobs in NYC-USA


One of the nation’s leading cash management and financial technologies company providing the industry’s most innovative cash management and cash-related solutions to the broker-dealer, banking, qualified plan and retail direct space. This position will be responsible for creating and implementing the company’s first integrated corporate communications and marketing communications function – including internal communications, external communications and marketing communications materials. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for the company’s sponsorships of conferences and special events and in-house creative services function.

Develop and administer a comprehensive program presenting corporate information and the corporate message to a multifaceted audience, including employees and clients through publications, the corporate Intranet, newsletters, news releases, etc. Public Relations and media relations will be a critical component to the company’s integrated marketing program and provide exponential value to the company’s direct marketing campaign. The public relations function could include: News Releases; Surveys/Indexes; Media tours with 3rd party spokesmen; and Media relations in conjunction with White Papers related to conferences and other special events. Marketing Communications would include the Review and development of marketing collateral material (e.g. brochures, sales sheets, newsletters, Intranet content, etc.) and presentation decks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in the development of the corporate mission statement.
• Develop, with the marketing department team, ways to present the corporate message through different media – both internally and externally (e.g. brochures, presentation decks, news media, etc.).
• Develop internal and external newsletters.
• Direct development of corporate Intranet, including most appropriate ways to deliver corporate message and reviews site regularly to ensure that navigation is easy and information is presented clearly and that outdated information is removed. Facilitate speaking opportunities for corporation executives.
• Direct company’s public relations program and acts spokesman for the corporation with the news media.
• Manage external strategic partners (e.g.: public relations agency, printer, etc.).
• Manage the in-house graphic design and creative services function. Manage the special events and conferences function.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 10 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing communications and public relations, including management of a comprehensive in-house corporate communications and marketing and communications program.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate efforts of various teams to present a coherent message
• Financial Services industry experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication ability.
• Excellent managerial and organizational abilities, as well as ability to work well with both corporate management and with the larger community.
