Job Description
Job Title- Data Warehouse ETL Tech Lead – Teradata
Educational qualification-Degree educated in a computing, engineering or scientific discipline
Experience Level-6 -10years (total IT), 3+ on Teradata
Primary Expertise required- Datawarehousing
Could be one of the following:-
- T&I: Wireless, Datacom, Optical Networks, Intelligent Networks, VoIP, Switching Systems
- TISP: Telecom Service Provider Applications
- E&I: WAP Gateway, Bluetooth Solutions, VLSI/ System Design, OS / Platform Technologies
- E- enabling: B2B/ B2C/Mobile commerce/ Web Security, CRM/SCM/ ERP, Datawarehousing, Client Server/Mainframe
- TIS: IT Infrastructure
- Functions: Sales & Marketing, HR/Recruitment, Quality /Administration
- Others: Datawarehousing
Skills Required – (Include languages, OS, Database skills that are required)
• ETL design and development
• Teradata V2R5, SQL, Utilities like MLOAD, FASTLOAD etc
• Insurance Industry knowledge will be a plus
Role & Responsibilities
• ETL Design
• ETL development using Teradata V2 R5 SQL
• System Analysis & Design
• Strong ETL development knowledge using Teradata SQL
• Good knowledge of Teradata utilities like MLOAD, FastLoad etc
• DataWarehouse development experience
• Data modeling experience.
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal / communication skills
• Experience in leading a team of ETL developers
