1. Contract PM (Website Portal)
The position is to manage the development of new capabilities on SGX’s new website, including website redesign and content collaboration with business partners. It is offered on a 1-year contract basis, renewable on a 6-month basis thereafter.
Job Description
Management of assigned project(s) to ensure that deliverables and activities are defined, planned, executed and tracked. Present a clear view of project status, anticipate issues and take pre-emptive steps to prevent/mitigate problems such as delays and poor quality issues.
Ensure senior management and other stakeholders are fully informed of all material issues and risks. Provide relevant information to guide their decisions, manage their expectations, obtain their confidence and enlist their support.
Ensure that vendors deliver according to agreed dates, quality and cost, and that vendors are not asked to perform tasks outside the Statement of Work which could compromise agreed delivery.
Forecasting, budgeting and planning to ensure that project expenses are at or below approved amounts and that additional budget items are properly justified and approved by the Business Owners, Steering Committee and/or other management committees where necessary.
Ensure project plans are complete, comprehensive and up-to-date, and that changes to project plan are tracked. Ensure timely status and project reporting through Enterprise Project Management System, including exception reporting.
Requirements
• Degree in Computer Science/equivalent
• PMP preferred
• Experience in website projects using IBM Websphere Portal solutions, Lotus Notes, Business Objects or similar enterprise solutions preferred
• Have managed complete SDLC cycle for at least one sizable project (> $1M, > 1 year) in a financial services environment
• 5 years’ project management experience, preferably with experience on both client side and vendor side
• Possess initiative and ability to drive project in desired direction
