DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To operate & monitor large tonnage centrifugal liguid chiller & HVAC equipments at a district cooling plant.
• Cooling water system: Induced draft tower capacity of 56000gpm , and controlling the fan speed through VFD according to the wet bulb temperature.
• Maintain the condenser water and chilled water parameters with in the limit, and dozing the chemicals according to the chemical anaylsis requirement by the operation of WEB MASTER SYSTEM.
• Monitor and controlling the plant through SCADA and BMS system.
• Ensure that load levels are properly distributed by monitoring the same regularly to ensure optimum utilization of plant capacities and optimize ENERGY CONSUMPTION.
• Fitration Systems,Fire pumps,(Jockey,Eletrical and Diesel pumps) Fire alarms, and Pressurization unit, Instrument air compressors with Refrigeration Driers and Air separation unit,
• Managed and maintain Safe operation of the plant equipments and personal working on it.
• Maintain good records of all equipment parameters and utility consumption.
• Generate weekly performance report starting all accomplishment and issue happened during the week and all summarized utility consumption report.
• Inform immediate Supervisor and Engineer regarding process deviation and or abnormalities of any equipment in operation.
• Effective start up and shut down of the plant equipment in a accordance with the written standard operating procedures and standard operating instruction.
• Shut down work planning and work clearance procedure preparation.
• Reduce the production cost by adopt energy consumption methods.
• To prepare & keep all the related books & reports including the daily utilities & consumptions.
• Submit timely Operations reports, Weekly reports and attend required Trainings and Meetings.
• To make sure that the plant rooms are CLEAN & TIDY always.
