PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE  MBA Degree – Marketing/ Supply Chain with minimum 5 years of experience in purchase in any MNC/ FMCG, preferably in Direct Procurement/ Packaging Materials
Experience in the use of computers and extensive knowledge of SAP, MS-office applications.
Raw material and packaging material procurement understanding
Strong communication skills.
Advanced negotiation and influencing skills.
Ability to think strategically.
Ability to work closely with other departments within the organization, specially production and QC.
Ability to identify, initiate and implement corrective actions.
Broad planning and cross-functional understanding.
Project management experience.
Strong analytical skills.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Explore available technology and implement best practices related to supply chain purchasing activities.
• Strengthening procurement area of supply chain purchasing.
• Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance.
• Maintain up to date supply base information database.
• Maintaining competitive pricing.
• Leading yearly cost reductions activities.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations; assure all items brokered have proper paperwork and documentation.
• Negotiating long term agreements.
