Highly Skilled Business Analyst- 3 Month Contract- Career Launching Opportunity
We’re seeking an accomplished Business Analyst with extensive experience and proven capabilities in Business Process Mapping. The optimal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal & written as well as strong knowledge & proven application of process modeling & analysis concepts/techniques. Our preferred oil and gas client has a massive program which will require the services of a business analyst to align business processes with new systems. Key Responsibilities include:
Producing business process flow swim diagrams / context diagrams for each project and an integrated overall program view.
Identifying impacts to current roles and any new roles that will be developed from changing processes.
Identifying future state and current state process gaps.
Identifying program vision alignment gaps with stated requirements.
Identifying potential areas for process improvement / efficiency.
Serving as a productive member of the Organizational Change Management Team.
Requirements:
Ability to understand and work in Enterprise Architect (EA SPARX)
Intermediate knowledge of utility pipeline experience is an asset.
Knowledge & proven application of process modeling & analysis concepts/techniques .
Proven track record of successful requirements and use case capture.
Proven track record of successful process design workshop facilitation.
Solid foundation of technical & business terminology/concepts.
Self-starter, shows strong initiative.
Related experience in large, integrated system design/development projects
A good understanding of various systems and overall relationship between needs and capabilities.
Ability to work well with people who have varying technical abilities.
Strong ability to raise and/or resolve issues.
Ability to work effectively in an agile, fast-paced environment.
