Assistant Treasurer – (Ref No. DUB-REC/AST-005/09).
JOB PURPOSE:
Manage and control the Treasury Operations, Cash Management and Dealing room operations functions, effectively so as to keep the company’s financial risk to a
minimum, contribute to effective management of funds, ensure exception reporting, and perform analytical and related reporting functions accurately and on a timely basis.
The Post
• With the use of the Bloomberg Financial System monitor, analyse the various hedging strategies which adhere to the company’s risk tolerance level.
• Decision making on currency dealings, deposit placements, interest rates fixing, portfolio investments and physical unwinding of metal hedge positions.
• To manage the treasury’s cash management department, looking after short-term liquidity of the company and handles the day to day sales revenue streams and payment transactions.
• Managers the Treasury Operations Department in recording and validating of all treasury deals.
• Examines the policies, procedures and guidelines affecting Treasury operations and plans.
• Recommend and implements appropriate strategies to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
• Responsibility to produce the treasury-related monthly performance reports and AP Treasury Reports issued to CFO.
• Responsible for the preparation of budgets and forecasts on interest payable and receivable.
• The Person
• Male or female EMARATI NATIONALS age 30-35 and above, but not over 45.
• 5- 7 years of good treasury, experience in a large corporate companies or manufacturing companies with active TREASURY FUNCTION.
• Bachelors in Commerce Graduate Major in Accounting or preferably finance
• Preferably qualified in ACT (Association of Corporate Treasurers) but not a must.
• Must be CMA, CA, or CFA
• Excellent understanding of treasury controls.

• Must have good communication skills.
Salary & Benefits
Tax free monthly salary covering basic, housing and transport allowance. Educational allowance of AED25,000/- per annum per children (maximum of 3 children), medical insurance for self and family.
