Assistant Manager Logistics Careers in Muscat Oman


Manage all aspects of Logistics(Outbound), Timely Dispatches with regulatory compliance of International Customs/ Border norms, management of logistics team.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing all the regular routine dispatches and ensure timely dispatches.
2. Planning and Adhering to Dispatches according to ETD’s
3. Working as team with Customer Service Department and Planning Department to plan and ensure dispatch adherence to ETD.
4. Providing guidance and supervision of Logistics Staff and team.
5. Ensuring only system gate pass accompanies the vehicle or dispatch.
6. Dealing with Transporters and Shipping Agents to ensure better freight rates
7. Meeting the sales target every month in time and ensure month closing by 2nd / 3rd of every month
8. Ensuring adherence to FIFO of goods with help of Logistics Supervisor, Logistics Team and QA team
9. To ensure timely invoicing is done by the team to enhance and support the sales team for funds collection in time
10. To ensure LC documentation and negotiation process is started and the documents are handed over to Accounts and Finance in time
11. Approving Transporters Invoices after scrutiny
12. To ensure with the team that each shipment leaves with a Tiny Tag(Temperature Controller) is given to each reefer to monitor transient temperature.
