Asbestos Surveyor Analyst (North West – Blackpool)
Job Description
We are urgently seeking to recruit a Qualified Asbestos Analyst/Surveyor for our client, a market leading independent professional firm of environmental consultants that offer an expanding range of specialist services, covering both the natural and built environments.
Working from their Blackpool and Chester offices, the successful candidate will be expected to carry out asbestos surveys on various types of buildings, on site air monitoring in accordance with HSE procedures and monitor contractors to ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations. Other duties include assisting with building surveys to identify asbestos containing materials. The projects are for a local client base, although some travel to other areas may be required on occasion.
This is a key role and as such it is imperative that you are qualified to BOHS P403, P404 standards and a P402 qualification would be very advantageous.
The Role will involve:
* The supervision of asbestos removal project.
* Air monitoring.
* Management surveys and refurbishment.
* Demolition surveys.
Salary is negotiable depending upon qualifications, knowledge and experience and includes healthcare, company vehicle, uniform and mobile phone.
The successful applicant must possess the following attributes:

A full UK driving licence

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*
Possess GCSE grades C or above in English and Maths or equivalent
*
The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
*
Flexible (some out of hours and weekend work will apply)
*
BOHS P404, P403 are essential and P402 (or equivalent) would be an advantage
