Application Analysts experienced in a hospital / healthcare environment – experience with Meditech or other healthcare vendor application (electronic health record) required.
Excellent communication skills and demeanor; responsibilities include:
• Help collect and define business requirements
• Generate code
• Generate reports
• Identify and analyze problems
• Test and debug code
• Troubleshoot applications
• Monitor and maintain maintenance of installed systems
• Produce and maintain documentation
• Gain an understanding of customer requirements and their impact on the technical direction of a solution.
• Analyze a chain of events and apply technical knowledge following established procedures and / or detailed specifications.
• Successfully troubleshoot most application problems independently.
• Operate effectively as part of a larger team and in managing own work. Is assigned tasks of greater duration and complexity.
• Form productive relationships with internal customers by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively. Respond to user problems, explains new technologies, and presents deliverables.
• Responsible for writing fundamental documentation in a clear, concise manner, adhering to standards. Share knowledge effectively within the work team.
