Ab Initio Developer – Belfast
Job Description
Our client is one of the fastest growing global IT services companies. With some of the world’s largest banking and finance companies as their clients they are opening a new EMEA development centre in Belfast this summer.
As part of their first round of recruitment we are looking for two Ab initio Developers
* Must have 3+ years of programming experience with Ab Initio, application modelling.
* Exposure to Unix Shell Scription (Korn/C/Bourne)
* Should have prior experience of FSR or Custody Load framework.
* Should be familiar with relational DB concepts and be fairly fluent with SQL. C/C++ knowledge a big plus
* Ability to use Design Patterns/ Best Practices
* Experience in writing test cases and test plans
* Familiarity with source code control concepts. (VSS,CVS,PVCS etc) & SDLC life cycle
* Background with domain expertise in banking & financials is preferable.
* Must have strong presentation development and delivery skills.
* Strong team player, initiative and self-motivating, able to manage stressful situations & negotiate.
* Ability to respond under pressure to many demands
